Jenn: What I love about Romel is that he is completely opposite from me – He’s a computer programmer, I’m studying biochemistry. He’s adventurous, I’m more of a scaredy-cat. He loves superheroes and comic books, I love fashion designers and style blogs. He loves anything with bacon on it, I’m more of a seafood/vegetable person… The list goes on and on.. Because we’re so different, the relationship is always interesting. I’m constantly learning and experiencing new things. I know it’s cheesy, but he completes me. 

Romel: What I love about most about Jenn is that her gaming lineage surpasses mine. Even though she doesn’t constantly play the current generation of video games, she has played everything from the original NES all the way up to now. She’s played almost all of the original Marios, Mario Party, and Mario Karts! Our first date was spending the evening at her place going through the different generations of awesome Mario games which in turn lead to everything awesome about our relationship. In all seriousness, I love how that even though we’re kind of completely different types of people, there’s always the small things that we both love that keep our relationship strong and going. We always try to keep it balanced too, she’s fashionable I wear whatever I feel, she keeps me sane, I keep her insane. The list goes on and on! But we love each other and together we make the best of both
